Another week, another loss. When will enough be enough eh? When we’re too far gone? I came into this season thinking now that Chester has the halfback he wanted and new coaching staff we might do better. If anything we’ve gone backwards.

God give me strength. Effort is one thing, but if that effort is channelled via a well thought out game plan, by a coach who places that fear of God into players to generate the energy (Alex Ferguson, Craig Bellamy, Ricky Stuart, etc) then the plan will yield results. Chezzy is a lovely bloke. We've all said it. We've all spoken to him down BV at some point. Top bloke. But we need some friction in that changing room. Even at U11's I was poop scared of the coach and it would drive me through the game. Angst also creates focus. It's not all negativity. Just my 2c

With a week off if the club are to make a coaching change its probably the best time.
Don't think anything will happen because Chester fits the club structure.
Its no good giving the job to Last it just will not work if indeed he's off at the end of the season.
The club have to take a total change of direction by backing Chester with some money and pdq or by brining in a new man and backing him.

Newsflash: Points make prizes, effort is admirable but it's all about the win(s).

Ashall-Botts was able to do what he did to score his try because Westerman took it to the line and put doubt in the defenders before passing to Lino who did the same, before passing to Bott.
Catalans were nothing special, we made them look better than what they were because we're so poor at the basics.

Ateotd we can make all the excuses /reasons in the world but we have lost our way. There is no cohesion in attack or defence. Something has to change and quickly. We can't get rid of the squad so that leaves Chester as the fall guy. He has to go or there is a very strong possibility of relegation. That would be the demise of a club that I have supported for over 50 years and that p*s*es me right off

We all know like after every defeat Chester is going nowhere because he will be backed by Carter. When I say backed it is more implied than said because I am still to read anything from the club about our performances. We hear the same excuses from Chester but I would like to hear from Carter why he believes Chester is still the answer and how we are going to survive in SL.

All I’ve managed to find so far press conference wise is this:

‘Wakefield coach Chris Chester admitted: “It was another disappointing loss, another game where we put in a lot of effort, but [there was] a lack of quality in the team.”’

More of the same spiel.

Wakefield head coach Chris Chester:

"It's another disappointing loss for us, another game where we had a hell of a lot of effort, just a lack of quality. It's really tough going at the minute. The energy levels were great again, I'll never question their effort.

"But we had five or six sets on their line in the first half but we couldn't get a drop-out and that led to pressure releases. It's individuals who keep hurting us, we've just got to make sure those individuals don't keep making the same mistakes.
