why are we so interested in Grix. He hasn't done a thing for the Giants for the last two seasons and is injured constantly

Think it's a 1 yr deal. Not bad cover for max who really has been thrown in at the deep end this year. Should help when he is fatigued

It might help Jowitt but it won't exactly improve our points against column.

Surely we are not pinning our hopes on us reducing our points against on who plays fullback? I'd say that was more down to the guys in front!

I'm ok with Grix...he's worked with Kear before...he's obviously come at the right price...he offers experience and possibly a bit of off field leadership, as well as being able to cover a number of positions..

You'd have thought coach and chairman would have been singing from the same hymm sheet. On Radio Leeds yesterday Carter backtracked on Chester's aftermatch comments on Friday that they were after five players on top of Caton Brown and Hirst. Carter said that they were considering five in total - two of them being CB and Hirst who have of course already signed.

He was tweeted about this yesterday and said CC txt him whilst on air to remind him who the 5 were so it is 5 plus MCB and KH
