I was absolutely gutted on Thursday. Not only did I watch Leeds get absolutely mullered, I couldn't even enjoy a decent pint to drown my sorrows. I got myself all excited when saints beat you, and we got your away fixture. Just to be turned away by the stewards please please please please get some of your real ale in the away end bar! The flat tasteless fosters just about ruined my night.... and then the rugby started....

Sorry you had such a bad night
Trinity Ale is the best pint in RL and there isn't even a close second.
Way better than the over priced dishwater that we have to drink elsewhere, especially Salford, which is the worst pint of the season so far.

I discovered this thread about three weeks before the end of the regular season, and was chuffed when saints beat your lot, managed to get all Yorkshire away games which was spot on for me like. I'll be coming down to wakey in a plain jumper next year and smugly ripping it off as I walk past the stewards, pint in hand

I do apologise, had to been a friday night I might of done the away end but with sky been present it reduces the crowd and makes it hardly worth its while as most away supporters come in their cars, I did do it once with the Cas supporters but they either was in the same situation or wanted to ignore it because of the name Trinity,

I did manage to sell one cask to them but put two on for them, luckily I found a customer for the other as it comes bright for easy moving and has a short self life.

Our supporters have known about all season and I hope we've delivered a good experience for them at the game, I can't thank the club and our supporters in backing me at the ground as it was touch and go last year, serving at the ground has help us massively and been good fun in the process.

On the weekend on September the 1st, Oulton Raiders will be putting on their annual beer and music festival in which we will have 5 of our beers on the bar 3 outside and 2 inside, also there will be Five towns offering three and a friend over the common, Neil Sherburn steampunk brewery, well worth a visit for the afternoon or even the full day

I would of loved to have had our beers in your ground,
I had been contacted by someone from the club who I think was trying to take the micky, they wanted a buy one get one free jeez I'm at rock bottom price might as well hit me with a wet fish at the same time,
after to chatting to Neil who now supplies your real ales now instead of boothtown said he then took 3 casks full price so shows he did want to mickey, to me thats a shame as it is shows how ignorant he is about a varied local choice, would love him to call again

over the few years brewing I've learned a lot on serving as well and that is the key to a good pint

It's only an idea Wardy, but just think if you changed your support to a reet team you could sample snowie's finest every week

Wearing a Trinity shirt would be a small price to pay and many glory hunting Rhino's fans come from Wakefield anyway so perhaps they should support their local club AND get the benefit of the best pint in RL
