Placing the final result aside for a short moment, in the view of someone who watches Widnes most weeks that is the first time this season we have really dominated a team as we did so often in patches in that second half.
It really is a concern for Trinity spectators going forward as to just how you are to compete in your final 5 games and for that reason I really cannot see you `Getting of the hook` and escaping the greatly feared Middle eights!
Good from our perspective as I would much rather play Wakefield than Catalan as it stands, I think playing that game again and seeing just how easy you can be broken down the result would be far from the outcome it was on the weekend.

Interesting use of the phrase "really dominated".
You get desperate, chance the short kick of, which worked a couple of times but, your "domination" meant that the second half was 22 points each, which would suggest that, despite having put the cue on the rack, Trinity were equally "dominant".
Widnes will have to be a bit more dominant than that if they ant to stay in SL
I take it that you weren't there, probably saving up to go to Toulouse or Toronto (or Fev) in a few weeks time
