Hull FC simply cannot get into the top 4, with 2 rounds to go they are 5 points behind Warrinton who are currently in 4th position.
They are though, guaranteed a top 8 position,i can't see them finishing lower than sixth, there is no chance of Hull finishing in the middle eights.
So to me, and if i was the coach of Hull FC, i would be concentrating on getting as many of the first team squad back for top 8 play offs.
With a fully fit squad they would be better putting all their energy into the top 8 play off & i think Hull would have every chance of getting to the final.

But 2 points in the regular rounds are just as valuable as they are after the split are they not? Points do not get reset at round 23. I saw a comment on the VT along the lines of "If Wakefield beat Hull FC they might rest some players against Hudds to have players 100% fit for the super 8s" Why would they do that?
