I’ve not mentioned Navarette once in that post, you seem to have took great offence that I said I was happy he’d left and he was crap, if you think he’s great then fine but after 2/3 games you’ll be moaning
There, you've mentioned him again, let it go it just wasn't meant to be

If you get the 2018 version of Naverette you’ll be very happy, started in the grand final winning team
If you get the 2019 version, you’ll be slightly disappointment but a bit of a desperation loan signing 4 days before the season expectations won’t be too high.
Fell down the pecking order at Wigan due to young props coming through (Partington, Havard, Bryne) so good for us to move him on
Good move for you as you need cover and he’s a super league standard prop.

Good for both teams
Sounds fair.
Sounds like it's his last chance also, so hopefully it will work out. It's a desperation signing as you say, some work and some don't. Fifita was one of those but we've had some duffers, it's the chance you take.

Agreed. Sounds like a deal that suits both clubs quite well and now, it's up to the player to prove himself. He's a good age for a forward and he definitely can play - let's hope that we can get the best out of him (and that he's not too injury prone).
Cant believe that we start the season with so many forwards unavailable.

And I was the one who sounded bitter? As for O’Loughlin being “ biggest joke in the game” that just shows your rugby knowledge, captain of England and Wigan but he’s clearly crap because you say so. I sincerely hope you are relegated this year as you have the worst ground in the league, worst facilities in the league, and deserve to be below super league because your club is stuck in the past
What's bitter about it? He was a decent player 10-12 years ago. Now nothing but a average cheap shot merchant. Captain of England / GB? Wow who wants it? They can't even beat PNG. End of the day I accept that Wigan are the game's most famous club so no bitterness. As for you hoping we get relegated its 21 years people have been saying it and its not happened so dream on. Plus if we're in trouble we'll buy a player for 400k and get some to play for free.

From a personal point of view I think O'Loughlins been a very good servant to the Wigan club but he's definitely lost his mobility while keeping his leadership quality. He now tends to give away far too many penalties , that's great for Wigan opponents.
Sean O’Loughlin is nothing more than an average cheap shot merchant - wow. Some knowledgeable fans on here.
He’s entering his 15th year as Wigan captain.
If he were any good he'd have gone to the NRL. He even injured himself last year putting a high shot in. Remember him whining when he took Annakins head off, then Wigan bullied the panel to get him off a lengthy ban. I don't claim to be an oracle on RL just my opinion. But for me he's overrated and no where near sinfield, Farrell, or Gareth Ellis in quality or leadership.

Funny how people see different things in a player, it is my opinion that SOL oozes class - He is the type of player that can have an influence on a game without the touch of a ball. As he has got older he has lost some attributes of course, but he can lead a team around the pitch and control a game better than any half in the league still.
On the other hand, I do not put Sinfield up there, I think he had a quality kicking game and I did not see much else.
