I heard Danny Kirmond is mentoring him so should be fine regarding pens.

I've read the thread and that racial stereotyping thing remains unaddressed.

The French are not a race, they are people born in France, their ethnicity is irrelevant.
So, yeah you can have stereotyping, that's fair but you hellas can't casually drop a race grenade in there and then go on to describe how mild that "racial stereotyping" was and that no one was offended.
Well, that might be your opinion but there is nothing mild or unoffensive about race grenades.

I'm not sure what the equivalent term is for stereotyping a nationality.
I'll happily change the term if you can help me on that.

I'll change my point to cultural stereotyping.
I can be less harmful to Upanunder's point as you've proved with the cuisine comment. Its all about whether it puts someone down or not and in my opinion the first comment did that.

I'm happy to leave it. Its no longer to do with the thread. If you want to discuss it by all means add it on the politics and other stuff thread.
