Hi Pop Tart...sorry it's only me and not your Lord and master Boris or your saviour in covid Matt Hancock.
So 2,013 views and no one but me prepared to discuss the re opening of Belle Vue with an attendance level needed to sustain the club. Is it the elephant in the room as I mentioned in a previous post i.e. INFLUENZA and the rest that's stumped a few of you and the reason for the silence. If so, that's maybe a good thing.
Unfortunately the enablers of this lunacy on here and out there have backed themselves into a corner with, as I see it, no way out. Are you listening Mr Carter with your messages to “stay home” and the cashing in with those dreadful masks.
If I'm wrong then it's no big deal. If the enablers are wrong then it's going to be a heavy price future generations are going to pay, all for nothing. Hope you can live with yourselves.
History will no doubt show that covid was no worse than influenza, assuming it wasn't influenza all along and look just what has been destroyed.
Anyhoo,
Think I may go to the pub tomorrow, just need to buy a smartphone, follow the arrows on the one way system, sign in, gell my hands for twenty seconds, download the app, sit at the designated table, wait for the server in his / her mask and visor and rubber gloves, remember to keep my fiver in my pocket and go cashless. Flamin heck, I only intend buying a pint and a bag o nuts. What's this ???? Only one customer at a time allowed in the bogs?
Think I would rather risk catching the flu at Belle Vue.
Night all.
This is simply embarrassing.
"I will not evolve or adapt!" "Keep people safe ensuring the next generation of my family have some sort of a normal world to live in? NO THANKS! GET ME A PINT AND A CURRY BUT I'LL ONLY PAY CASH!"

Your comment isn't a very well thought out response to the problem we face with influenza is it dreadnought?
My local pub allows me to walk up to the bar, buy a pint, with cash, and sit where I like. I am now waiting for the death toll to rise considerably in my area because of my totally irresponsible behaviour.
Dreadnought....We have lived on this planet for thousands of years, we survive, we rely on our immune systems to keep us going. We do not need Boris, Billy Gates, Hancock or you to make up daft rules when nature has done the job just fine. We, like animals, know instinctively how to keep ourselves and our families safe. Do some research on “herd immunity” and tell me how masks (those filthy, bacterior invested rags, millions of them floating around now) are going to keep you safe. You do know the WHO advised against them until they were told by politicians to take it down from their website ? We live, we die, get over it.
Set it out for me this “some sort of normal world” you envisage. I would love to know or are you waiting for darling Boris to issue his next “I'll keep you safe” set of instructions.
If you have read this far please also set out a plan for the return to Belle Vue in your brave new world. Funnily enough that's all I was asking a few threads ago, not a discussion on the plandemic. Strangely though, so far, no one appears to have an answer. I await your response.
PS..I use a card sometimes, just like everyone else. I just don't believe we should have a cashless society and therefore I use cash if I possibly can.

Just joining this conversation half way through so apologies if I have missed any key points. Genuine question Miro, do you pose the same questions to every other country in Europe re there leadership/direction during the COVID-19 Pandemic? I am sure there has not been that much difference throughout.
I tend to agree with you on a lot of points in principle, but I just don`t know what is expected of the government. The same people questioning the guidelines and restrictions put in place are the same people that were questioning them not putting them in place soon enough. People raise concerns about the "control" these restrictions have over them and there family and in the next breath are wanting the government to hold there hand an explain every little detail of "guidelines" that should just be common sense for most people.
From a political standpoint we started off very well in all of this, Kier said all the right things when he come in, yet he just could not resist jumping on a few decisions that were deemed to be controversial at times to get a few points on the board knowing he would have the likes of Wilzay using these little snippets to fulfil his much needed anti-tory agenda.

Thanks for your comments homme vaste. In answer to" every other country in Europe" and I suppose you also mean the world. I answered this a few post ago but here it is again. I believe, and so do countless others around the world including scientists, doctors etc that this agenda has nothing to do with a virus, real or otherwise. The virus, or to put it bluntly "seasonal flu" Well it has, but the "pandemic" is a smoke screen for this, as reported in July, but the plans were laid out long before the "pandemic" hit.:
I don't have a link handy just now. Here it is, in a nutshell.
At a virtual World Economic Forum meeting, global leaders from the United Nations, United Kingdom, United States, International Monetary Fund and multi-national corporations discussed and announced a plan to develop a “Great Reset” of the entire world.
“Every country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed,” Schwab added. “In short, we need a ‘Great Reset’ of capitalism.”
Now that explains "lockstep". But note, small, high street businesses are not included in their great "re-set." Hence not giving a stuff about the hundreds of small businesses around the world going bust.
Schwab is the World Economic Forum’s website, WEF founder and Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab.
Is that meant to be a dig at me? You need to try harder I'm afraid.
I drive everywhere but I am unleaded and might go electric one day I love contact sports. Played and watched Plastic is important for keeping food fresh but I try to use reusable bags and recycle I love fish I wear a mask and social distance.... Seems easy enough I've flown hundreds of times. Needed to travel internationally with my job. Not now though. Belle Vue.....? I'm not even sure what your point is there.
But at the moment it's a small price to pay to be careful. Can you explain why its a hardship to you to wear a mask and social distance?
Well, you should read your old posts. You inferred that all the draconian measures were fine by you because if it saves just one life it'll all have been worth it, small price to pay.. In fact you mentioned having your foreign holiday cancelled and repeated the above mantra.
So, don't drive your car, don't expect sportsmen and women to put their lives on the line for your sport and plastic, well, help pollute the seas if you must. In other words “small price to pay”
By the way, the odds on you getting seriously injured driving on the roads is....Oh forget it, just keep safe.
What's Belle Vue got to do with it? The clue is in the thread title.
Masks and Anti social distancing?? Read my last post or the one a few pages back.

Where in my very short comment did I mention anything to do with Boris or Masks?

No. I said I was OK with the steps you are asked to follow to go to the pub.
It's a really nieve argument to the it's safer than driving a car or plane etc. We wear seat belts, have to pass a test, invest millions in car safety features to make it possible to drive and be as safe as possible. And people who don't drive safely are fined or in the extreme put in jail.
For this you are being asked to social distance until they can find equivalent measures to make it safer.
What has always baffled me is that you argue so intelligently yet miss (possibly on purpose) some really obvious points. I don't know whether you are just so adamant about your point that you can't see anything else or that you are just winding people up (which I no longer think is the case) The very fact that after about 75 pages of discussion you haven't accepted one point made by anyone else makes me think you are lecturing rather than discussing. Would you agree?

Can make up my own mind thank you very much.
What is expected of this Government? Well, surely competent leadership should be a start. And I think they failed spectacularly in that.
I have no problems with lockdown restrictions or social distancing restrictions. It’s the “one rule for them, another for us” approach from Boris which is peeing me off.
