I appreciate some watching from the sideline want to point at Chester but you are just missing the obvious.
This is the one where Chester is to blame IMHO.
He has clearly stated that he thinks Jowitt could be an H/B and that Baily is a future SL H/B. Yet his deeds have not even come close to matching his deeds. Rocky should be F/B, his best position. Bailey and Jowitt should be playing alongside Miller, Bailey to start, Jowitt from the Bench where he can cover FB and all the backline. Crowther as back up S/R or Hooker. The two Wood's to alternate per game.
Under normal circumstances, CC couldn't do this but with no relegation he can, he just seems to lack the guts and imagination and I think it is this as much as the results that baffle most fans. Can anyone really argue that Chester has given either Jowitt or Bailey a real go? Idon't and when you consider how many second chances Miller has recieved whilst we still wait for anything close to a good game from Gigot it truly disheartening.
Being experimental for the long term but losing is nowhere near as soul-destroying as seeing a load of players at the butt end of their careers continually getting picked and continually not doing any better. That's how I see it.
