Form is temporary, quality is permanent. Always knew the team were a lot better then what we have been playing hence why we were matching teams for 50 minutes, we’ve not been blown off the park from minute 1. I’m not getting carried away as this is Wakefield but that was a pleasure to watch today against a very good Huddersfield team.

Those people were noticeable by there absence last week and are equally mute this week.

To be fair, as delighted as I am with today, I really wouldn't be surprised if we come unstuck next week! We have to have the mindset that we are on 0 points, if we think it's going to be a formality then we will come up short.

Yep, quite agree, Vasty...if we'd continued our losing streak this board would have been in meltdown now...it's just a shame that some people can't equally give praise when it's clearly due

Absolute quality from 1-17. Loved the hand off from Dave, sent the Hudds player flying. Only downside, Westy looked like he had a leg knock, hopefully nothing. Again the knockers are absent 100% guaranteed to be the first posters upon our next loss. With Leigh, Wire(after the CC semi) it's Cas!

Top performance today. Thought Westerman was outstanding though i was worried his knee had gone again at one point.He's one tough hombre.

I don't want to get too excited,because this is Trin we are talking about, but that was pretty impressive.Agree with other posters about how our defence has been improving massively and today it was exceptional,along with a great attacking display.Not knocking the players for a second, but is it just me,or did anyone else notice that our intensity dipped slightly when Westerman went off injured?(he certainly seems to be a big driving force).Or perhaps it was just coincidence, with tiredness setting in a little with all the tackling we had to do early on and also a man down for 10 minutes.
