Frankly I’m no longer impressed by these monster sized players, certainly in SL I’d say that the only truly effective one is Walmesley and let’s be right he’s in a top team.

This guy is the perfect size for a mobile hard working prop, let’s hope he turns out that way.

He's a big lad but I don't consider him a monster-sized player. I've stood with Dave a few times now and he is not exceptionally big in the way Pauli Pauli was, it's the latter type I was referring to.

He’s bigger than a lot in SL so just for once admit you were wrong or do you consider him not to be that great a player like some of your previous posts suggested, when he was rumoured to be leaving or would not follow Covid protocols.
I guess like you I don’t know if he is a good signing time will tell for both of us.

What are you going on about your new buddy stated he doesn’t like big forwards to justify the most recent signing. I pointed out that this suggested he therefore by definition did not rate Fifita, is that not correct. He then tried to justify his statement by claiming that to him Fifita is not that big however I wonder how he weighs (pun intended) up against the props at other SL club. I am certain he is our most destructive prop on our books.
I know he wants to show his loyalty to the club much like you by backing everything they do which is admirable but to try and justify this by suggesting big forwards are a thing of the past and that Fifita does not fit into this definition is just wrong.

According to NRL website and Wikipedia Jai Whitbread is 6 ft 1 tall and 16 stones 12 pounds…. Not 6ft 2 tall and 17 1/2 stones….Unless he’s bulked up a bit?

He will either be good or he won’t. Hell he’s an inch shorter and half a stone lighter according to old data, he’s hardly turned out to be Danny Diveto has he
