The problem with the labour party is that they are still mixed bag of left and right. Keir Starmer (who in my opinion isn't a strong enough leader) is pretty much to the right of the party but his deputy is as far left as Corbyn was.
The people of modern UK don't want far left politics, something which Blair realised, and for that reason they are still not seen by many as a credible opposition party. Tony Blair was in power for years, but after they were defeated enter Milliband (the wrong Milliband came to lead!) and Corbyn.
IMO if they moved more to the middle they would walk into power, because I think people are sick of the likes of BJ and his obnoxious allies of Reece-Mogg et al and the huge riches being made by the relative few once again.
