just finished the JD podcast on my walk to work and just listening to his pride and passion he had not just for our club but the game as a whole is overwhelming. Coming over here without a club into the unknown and ending up a legend . Then down to earth with a bump watching Pauli lumbering around for York last night . You couldn’t get two overseas players at the opposite ends of the scales for me , one came over with big wraps and bombed spectacularly , the other came over more in hope , and left a hero . Just goes to show if your willing to put the effort in you really can achieve your dreams .
It was great to listen to him talk so passionately about Wakefield.
We certainly had an affect on him and he certainly had an affect on the club and the fans.
I liked how he picked out Wrench, Mark Field and Rob Spicer for praise. Not many will pick those names but it shows that sometimes you don't realise the potential of young players within the club.
Quite a coup getting the current Souths coach. He's a busy man.
