Anything could happen in a one off game.
In the play-off game when we played Fev for promotion, if the linesman hadn't seen their knock-on then probably we wouldn't have been promoted.

I still have a feeling he isn't definitely leaving. Just a hunch but I wouldn't be surprised if we saw him in a Trinity shirt for one final season
next year ...

Given all the goodbyes on his instagram from friends, team mates etc it would have to be one of the most elaborate (bad) jokes of all time. It looks pretty legit to me and seems he is going back home.

He doesn’t say he’s leaving, just end of an era, which it is for the ground. There have been no leaks from the club or any other clubs about him joining them which is surprising if this were true. I’m calling him snd his brother on 2 yr deals announced the day before season tickets go on sale

Whether he goes, or not there's one thing I'd say, is thst overall, his best days have been with us and we've seen him at his best

Heard through the grapevine that he is definitely leaving but doesn’t know what he wants to do yet.
Also hearing that a lot of in contract players are wanting out.

The announcement seems a bit blase to me. No thanks for anyone. Think about when players leave and what they write on social media usually a few paragraphs thanking X and X and X and talking about special memories. Seems a bit weird that announcement. Also, Kirmond's first comment is "why you lying for?". Really wouldn't surprise me if this is a fifita wind up...
