More interested in talking about fans and airing your disappointed with them for not bashing the board/owners. It’s not a playground where we need to throw stones every opportunity.
Why does it bother you if some supporters don’t let the results send them into a tailspin against the top dogs. Some adults can manage their emotions quite well and just want to support the club as a separate entity from the board. I remain positive for the club and it has my full support. The board and management have made mistakes this season and I’m not happy but I can also see they’ve acknowledged that and are trying to turn it round before it’s too late.
You appear to be labelling any fan who is trying to support the club through this really torrid time as a defeatist who accepts the poor performances etc. That’s far from reality. Just because a fan tried to be supportive in adversity and doesn’t prattle on does not mean they are accepting.
It’s just a redirection to the owners again and we have countless other threads about that.
Regards the rugby. Same thing again cost us! Reading twitter it’s a common theme…
Knock on, knock on, penalty, knock on. Incomplete sets.
If we didn’t turn over so much ball and put ourself under so much pressure we would have more in the tank in the final quarter. It really does need addressing.

Empathy is only a minor part of winning. When it is the only part of winning (or losing) then it doesn’t work.
Look at winners in the world of sport. Then compare them to our setup. There is no comparison. Mash backs them every week. He might be pretty ticked off about things, but that’s about it. Look at Alex Ferguson, Pep, Alex Murphy, Craig Bellamy. There are no medals for coming 14th. Or 3rd, or 2nd. These managers will put the fear of your god into you.
Look at schools these days. Everyone gets a medal. It’s ridiculous. There are no losers. I played RL from under 11’s to open age. I was shot scared of all of my coaches, and along with the smart stuff that came with the drillls etc, there was always that overtone of getting the wrong side of the coach. Continual improvement is real. You can see it in the eyes of people like Matt Pete, Rohan Smith, Brian Smith!!, Justine Holbrook etc.
Work for them, they will look after you. Dont’ and you are out.
Mash is still the intern. Way off. Way off.
The expectation of excellence in possibly manifested poorly in some of or fans, but do not ever blame them for seeking excellence.
