At the Member Share Holder meeting did Minards mention anything about having a financial plan in place in the event that doesn't get to speak with Matt Ellis`s parents. I presume that he must have one and I presume that the plan is an extremely cunning plan.

Matt Ellis`s Mum and Dad were also watching, they have been to several matches, I know Minards is advising that he needs to speak to them, perhaps he could have introduced himself.

Alf is key to this and JM should be keeping him happy. I imagine Matthew would listen to his dad at all opportunities seeing as though Alf built DIY and drove all of that "ahead of time" innovation in the production process.

Alf has retired for all intense and purposes, he has a £6m pound yacht on the med with a full time crew. Matt is running the company now and he is very wealthy in his own right. This is how I understand the situation.

How many years have we heard the comments of our directors saying that they don't have the money to compete with the owners of the big clubs. How many times have we heard there is no one out there willing to take on the club and if there was Michaeal Carter has said he is willing to sell it for a pound.

Then along comes a Barnsley lad, who went to school in Wakefield and now lives in the City. He is very wealthy and keen to take over and suddenly one of our directors seems very reluctant to let go. Michael Carter has done quite a few things wrong in his time in my opinion and most of that has been to do with the rugby side of things. In all fairness though he stepped in and put money into the club. I also feel he is more than happy for Matt Ellis to take over and this deal would have been done by now if he had sole control of the club.

I wish Matt Ellis would take over tomorrow because I feel our club is slowly going down the pan and needs fresh life and investment urgently.

Could someone please tell me minnards plans for the club if he stays, will Carter have to stay, do we have any money to pay the bills and loans back and put a competitive side on the field. Its been puzzling me. Oh and why would Mr Carter out of the blue chuck 300 grand in on the share offer, it was very generous of the man, was it done to keep the club afloat and pay the bills, if so are we skint.

I don't think we are allowed to perpetuate a scenario whereby one of our Directors (assume JM) is slowing things down in any form.

Every one started crying last time. But it won't go away from what I can see.

Because people, who don't know the facts, or choose to ignore them, keep perpetuating it.

He isn't staying. He's selling his shares if the deal actually gets done.
Carter isn't staying. That's been discussed to death.
Did Mr Carter chuck £300k in?

Have you any evidence to say we can't pay the bills? No idea why you keep raising it.

OK great so Minards will be left on his own, that does sound like a great plan. Mr Carter Snr did put £ 300,000 when he purchased Member shares , top effort. This info is on Companies house and confirms that others purchased £ 49,500 of member shares. As a say top effort from all concerned. I seem to remember that we purchased a lawn mower, no idea what the rest was spent on. Pretty sure it was not used to start paying back the council loan or the Covid loan, maybe it was used to cover some of the trading losses.

Some money went into providing the Water bore and storage, wasn’t cheap but will save money on water rates, and will cost nothing to water the pitch and provide for other amenities.
