I hope some of the worshippers of the incumbents can explain the logic to this decision and why they believe it will work. I bet no one at the club realised just how much funding we would lose with relegation because if we had then I guess it may have been possible for even two accountants to spend more on the squad to try to eliminate or reduce this possibility. I guess the phrase “speculate to accumulate” is an anathema to an accountant.

What would you do to speculate to accumulate then in the current circumstances you posed the analogy what would you do? Not a dig just interested.

It was obvious our squad was at best rubbish because it was within the restraints placed by the incumbents. I guess they could have tried to resign some of the players coming off contract rather than allowing them to leave. I know we brought some in but only after they got extra funding from a third party when it was a little too late.

But haven't you said a million times that we have less money now we are in Championship? Doesn't that answer your question?

Yes I knew it but sadly the incumbents didn’t or why would they do nothing after a start like ours. The sad thing is we actually nearly made it despite them and their inaction. If you believe they have done all they could to avoid relegation that is your opinion but not mine.
I hope our director of rugby takes the chairman and his obedient coach with him before they are allowed to completely destroy the club.

What is it that you think they could have done, after the start we had, that they didn't do?

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

Sack the coach early on and bring in someone with experience of managing an actual first team, preferably someone with experience of scrapping it out in a relegation battle who is able to turn close losses into wins, and stop the blowout losses.

They didn't do that, and the inevitable happened

Replace a failing coach or don’t appoint him in the first place without actually seeing who might want the job. I guess if you just want someone who will go with our squad without question. Don’t appoint yourself as the director of rugby and take over recruitment when you have no idea what you are doing and an ability to rub people up the wrong way.
Sadly he with his cohort decided to do nothing, why because he was leaving and clearly had lost interest when you look at his rare appearances.

So you've just said they did nothing after the start of the season, I've asked you to explain and you go back to things they should have known before the start of the season.

They didn't do nothing, they signed a boat load of players and an assistant and got the guy looking to take over to give us some money before he took over. It didn't ultimately work, but they didn't do nothing.

I'm trying really hard to have an intelligent conversation but you are making it very difficult.

I don’t know how many times some of us called for a change in coach after round 8.
