To be fair I recall them sharing some training videos for a few week but the some fans were just commenting and taking the Mickey. Completely ruined the communication attempts from the club from memory.



Also I do remember some injury updates a while back. There’s some fans who have enjoyed taking the Mickey out of the club when they post things (sarcastic comments etc) but yet moan when the club don’t.



The club I suspect have on occasions got tired of this on social media and taken a step back reporting stuff.



Probably an argument and learning points on both sides for a bit more perseverance from the club and less Mickey taking from fans.

The very fact Carter used to be all over social media should answer that question.



John Minards even said that he was reticent to post good news on his Twitter for fear of all the negativity he usually gets.

The usual two are still blaming the fans for being unhappy when the club is the one that causes its own mess.

I think you overestimate my influence, next you will be stating I was the one on the grassy knoll or the one who shot JR and Mr Burns.

What’s your source of information for this that they are presently or in the past blaming fans? Can you provide a link or point me in the right direction. Just curious and a genuine question as I haven’t seen either.

I’m not buying this, I won’t share because I’m afraid of negativity from a tiny handful of supporters!

Firstly, they didn't say that, I did.



Second, you can't have it both ways. Either let them speak or don't moan when they decide not to.



And third, they are small minded but not small. The "I don't tell lies" brigade are loud when they spread malicious rumours but very quiet when proved to be wrong.

Apologies for showing any signs of positivity, and yes, I have been through the mental torment of being a supporter this year and think some dumb decisions have been made, but I’m trying to BELIEVE.

Think M C and J M have done well for the club , got us a ground for for S L The down side is they did not know enough about putting a good team on the park. So all they got was poor advice from people at the club, that is why we are were we are now .The good thing is when \ if we go down by the look of it ,we are staying full time Hopefully this could see our fan base be high if we see a team that is playing attacking rugby and winning

I don’t agree with many things they have done and the opportunities missed by their profit at the expense of squad. If you believe pointing this out is hassling them then so be it but I would say it’s my opinion based on what we have experienced especially this season.

We are now trying to rectify the squad weakness but how much of this is down to the new board member and his sponsorship rather than the incumbents.

Dagger & kaye should be solid enough (think kaye said on his podcast played a season at donny at h\back also started off at h\back. They might get a bit of time too if hood has another stormer.

I don’t blame fans. I think a small section have contributed to the breakdown in communication but equally I do believe the club should have had a more resilient stance to persevere.



I’m not into flinging mud. I just say it as I see it. Like in most cases it’s not one side to blame but it’s usually some level of blame for all involved. This is no different.



I’m not interested so much in the politics or bickering. It’s far more important to me to fix the issue and invest time and energy into that.



If the effort and energy people invested into moaning and dredging over past and present issues was invested into fixing those very same issues then it would be far more productive.



I’m same at work. If I think it doesn’t add value and is inefficient I will say so. Some people do appreciate that while others tend to be put out because they want to rant.



I love the club, I want it to succeed. I do see some of its failings but I also see there are efforts to improve on this. I see some failings in a section of fans but I can accept some people have a different nature and get caught up in emotion.

Either respect the person giving the club updates or don't expect updates. It's pretty easy.

Totally agree, I love the club I want us to succeed. Theres a couple on here who you never see when we win and probably never go to Belle Vue but straight on here when we lose. I’m not a rose tinter but I’m a realist who supports Wakefield Trinity RLFC.
