Was the attendance announced? as per you couldn't hear anything in the North Stand.

Must have been at least 9,000?

9,002 just after the hooter.

Pardon. I agree about the lack of pa system in the North stand. In terms of H&S, I would have thought it was illegal not to have a fully functioning pa system.

I'd certainly dispute the North stand figure. With the front terracing and the revised rear terracing I'd have thought it would hold upwards of 3500.

1200 on the West terrace.

2,500 East stand

Total 7,200 at least.

Adequate for now.

What’s happened to the other 3,000 or so that we used to have?

I didn't hear to be honest either. But we were talking to a very pleasant steward before the kick off; he told us that Hull KR had sold their allocation of 1000, and at their briefing earlier in the day they'd been told that there were less than 250 of Wakey's 3500 tickets unsold - and they expected them to disappear quickly.

We were chatting about the ground too and he said there were 1500 in the North Stand. (1502 at the end :D )

Wonderful, wonderful evening - not sure if the numbers are correct but they came from a pretty good source!

As I said in my post it was all conjecture and guesswork based upon the figure quoted as 3,500 capacity for the North stand when done.
The amendments to the terracing there are disappointing but I was mainly trying to stress that they're not as bad as some were making out and we won't be reducing capacity by 2,000 from these changes as some have stated.

If the council are so worried about the H&S on the north terrace why didn't they do something about it when they owned the ground :)

Two points.

They did, new pilings were added, but that was the Pete Box council.

The restrictions were far less then.

The problem this time it was a full inspection of our processes and did not just involve the H&S but many other bodies were represented I believe. I would suggest the sudden reduction in numbers would indicate we did not do too well based on the speed it was implemented.
