another defeat for stanley 11s against a very good east leeds side by just 2 points . although it was another defeat it was again another enjoyable match and to say the new coach as had his back to the wall with internal matters very little preseason compared to most and the loss of a couple of players . he is doing the coaching single handed aided by a teenage assistant .
a lot of new changes have been made and the standard of training is astounding and im sure once the lads get used to the new positions and having the ball in hand then they will start to implement the set pieces that they are so readily doing on a tues/thurs evening .
its strange that although with 3 gone we have a worse w/l ratio than last year that myself and the lad seem to enjoying it more. and hats of to the visitors last year when they came there was some heated words from behind the ropes ect which involve some rather crude gestures and some nasty little vile threats but this year the east leeds fans behaved exemplary and set the example to the children and at this level, what more can we ask of us parents , officials and coaching staff.

played a very very good hunslet side and were soundly beaten , however losing 8 tries to 0 with 3 minutes to go scored 2 more trys in the last 2 minutes .
a very very proud dad saw his little lad carry on his best season so far taking 2 awards including coaches man of the match ...
for all of those who have been posted before by me for sponsors watch out im at it again , but ive switched allegiance to my youngest . i know some are still a little cross with me due to the facts that promises were not kept but if you see me at the ground , of evening withs , walks , schools , pm me , stanley or just text me , (yes you to lee) i promise this wont happen again and that you well not be let down . me and Karen can see to this matter personally
