It's not just about the mechanics though - you also have to account for the personalities and egos etc....

If someone is to be voted off, then someone has to do the voting - and we certainly can't do that!

I'm not suggesting that this isn't or was'nt the case rather that it won't be in the long term.

And yes you are correct.

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

Was there any mention of what happens if you get de franchised ? Salary cap wise ?

Yep we'd spend the full cap of 300k and apply for the further 100k u can apply for. We'd keep on a full time squad !!

As a business, the club shouldn't do anything else but try and win something, within the rules, as only that gives an ability to re-apply. You wouldn't begrudge us that, would you? And anyway, Widnes hardly nabbed all the silverware did they? They certainly won't get back in on playing merit.

While I understand that any club will do what they can within the rules , it still doesn't help to make our competition ' Vibrant and worth winning in it's own right ' if there are salary cap rules that aren't cast in stone

I don't think Widnes spend any more than anybody else , only possibility of that would be Barrow and the large number of extra brown envelopes they buy from Viking direct

Thing is though this would be just another one of those reasons some will find to become dissoloutioned with the sport , including me to tell the truth ,
