I haven't got a problem with Crowther starting. Thought he was very unlucky not to be in the team last week at Magic weekend.

I know Saints have three big players back in Thompson, Percival and LMS but we’ve seen ourselves in recent weeks that big players aren’t guaranteed to come straight back in after injury and play to their very best...Fages is a miss for them as he’s been playing really well...I know Richardson has killed us a few times in the past but he was full of confidence then and playing well...he’s not been this year and he is definitely a player we can target defensively...

We need to get right in their faces from minute one and all 17 need to have the game if their lives...it’s a one off game...I’ve gone from thinking we’ve absolutely no chance whatsoever to looking at the 17 we put out and thinking you never know...if MCB and Kershaw can rise to it we’ve a squeak...that’s where I think we could be in real danger!

I think that team does have the quality but does it have the desire because that’s what counts in these games.

I fear we will get murdered round the ruck as we struggle to control it and their forwards will get them on the front foot. I'd like to see us go out wide early in sets and try and do them on the flanks.

Would actually put Crowther ahead of Batchelor at the present time.

Two completely different players for me and as such not in competition. I see Batch as a runner and a great support player. I see Crowther as an all rounder to cover many options in the pack, I’d play both if it were up to me.

Agree. They're different styles and both have qualities of their own.
I see Batch as strictly second row and personally see Jordan as loose forward.

So sorry to have an opinion having been involved in the game for over 50 years in various capacities. What the hell has being friends got to do with it? Stand by what I said that Crowther has edge at the moment. Did I say Batchelor was not good enough? No!
