I know he's a one trick pony but, as boring as he is, Sneeyd can kick us to death. Need to keep the penalty count down to zero! At least we know all his conversions will be out wide generally down Johnstone's wing.
Although we were blessed with Mr Child usual pedantry, which he evened up a little in the second 40. On reflection, you just have to say that it was a great game of RL. Hull were the better team in the first half and even making allowance for the help they had from Child, deserved to be in front at the break but, Trinity certainly turned things around in the second 40 and produced a stirring comeback, with the 2 tries from Johnstone, especially the 2nd on, were stunning finishes. Jowitt and Miller are improving as a partnership and our pack were certainly a match for theirs. We outscored them 5 tries to 4 and the difference prove to be the boot of Sneyd, although his DG at the end deserved to win any game

I agree with your comments WC, the frustrating thing is we obviously lost the toss for the 'golden point' kick off and never had a chance to take advantage of it ourselves. You could say we should have tackled more ferociously than we did and kept them in their own half but these were tired players and Hull got the luck. Yes it was a cracking drop goal - like Miller did at Cats a couple of years ago! I take great satisfaction from the game though. If we play as we did in the second half we'll climb the table.
It’s going to be a win one, lose one kind of season isn’t it? I’d be happy with that to be fair. Our best centre out for the season. No time frame on our best forward. Two of our three senior halfbacks out for a while.
I think it just shows against the so called better opposition you can't really have a bad half. Yes Child didn't help as per usual, but apart from a couple, he got us penalised deservedly in the 1st half, but I will look closely on Trin tv whether Hull were that squeaky clean! Just like at Cas, a bad 40 mins is virtually impossible to turn around and come out on top. Even when we beat Warrington we were dodgy the 1st half. If we can get a good controlling the game for 60 minutes, we have the firepower to hurt teams, and it showed last night real depth, and options. Great effort boys, it was a real sickener to lose that way.

I don’t know if it’s the modern athlete collision stress syndrome Willzay, but I remember when nearly all our players were out of condition, loved a beer, without disrespecting them, a lot were fat as well, but they very rarely missed a game, and the money was crap!
As you say Wakey are without players, you could make a team out of the players missing or injured in both Hull clubs, and now these injuries seem to last forever.

It's not so much the decisions he gives against us but the ones you don't get when the opposition do the exact same thing. There's a word for it.... Ah yes, cheating

Up to last night I'd agree with you (Arundal you're referring to no doubt) but Atkins has lost none of his class and his name would be one of the first on the teamsheet for me. LYne had a good game as well!
