Applegarth should be sacked now as he doesn’t have the team playing for him. They look a shambles that look as though they haven’t been coached.
A complete and utter embarrassment….

I fear that he won’t be though until the end of the season when the team is relegated as the worst ever SL side and the club ownership is resolved.

Sacking him would cost the current ownership more money and that’s what it’s all about not the welfare of the club or the fans.

Danny Brough made some good points that your 9 should be looking at the defensive line and seeing where the numbers are and give the ball to where there’s a man over. If not then one of the pivots should at least be seeing it and be shouting ‘boss ball’ and if the ball doesn’t come that side then ‘strong feedback’ is given….. lack of leadership and direction ball just goes wherever Lino is….

I can tell you right now that is not true.
If you care to go back I was very much a supporter of Poching, and my first post was that it was a ridiculous appointment.

I have warmed to him when hearing him speak but ultimately he's judged on results and the team have let him down.

However I don't agree that they don't care about the club. They clearly do.

As with most things in life, you get what you pay for.

Mark was the cheap option to replace the previous cheap option in Willie. The club have not invested in a support team to help him, either.

Some of us have been saying that the stumbling block is Carter, he's been in charge of recruitment and what a mess it's been. Constant inactivity in player recruitment means all coaches are left behind the black ball.
Ultimately you get what you pay for but with the present owners total lack of marketing and movi3 the club forward funds have been set low.
Please remember after Carter's first 2 years stability he's had 8 years to develop the club and formulate a medium to long term plan.
The blokes missed a golden opportunity to make Wakefield compedative and bring the Wakefield public along with him.its a crying shame what he's done to the Trin

I read some say who will want the job but the thing is when he was appointed no one was given a chance to apply. I am sure that despite the squad we could at least ask the question. The thing is do they want to ask it or are they happy for the pathetic performances to continue. If they actually cared about the club and supporters it’s a simple answer.
I have not hidden my views on MC and accountants running a business especially one that is sports based. He is clearly good at being an accountant but has forgotten what you need, to be a successful rugby club. This is definitely more obvious this season when all the actions taken are clearly to save money regardless of the obvious outcome. He will then disappear into the sunset leaving the supporters to follow what remains. I don’t know why he does not go now he can discuss his take from the takeover without being involved.
