Of course, full credit to MA. He copped the stick when we were losing, only fair he gets much of the credit
when we win.

I don't know him personally but I feel really proud of Mash. It would have been easy to walk away but he's stuck at it and is getting the reward.

I fancied us today, we've got a decent record at home to Warrington, but I didn't expect that. Thought there would be 4 to 8 points in it at the end. It was a perfect storm of us being up for it and Warrington being absolutely dire. Could have picked a man of the match from about 8 players today.

Thanks guys, we just been told Powell as been sacked. Just sorry we didn’t let you score more points to put you above Cas.

With Powel you get two for the price of one. If true I would imagine Sheriden sacked too

I could name any number of players for praise today, but I thought Hood was absolutely immense!

Re: Warrington at home this week : Sun Jul 30, 2023 6:34 pm
Virtually faultless performance from our go to 17 today , we weathered the early pressure from the wires without breaking a sweat to virtually dominate and set the tone for the rest of the game . My worry was half time would give the wires a lift , and Williams did start running more with ball in hand more , but Drinkwater water was conspicuous by his absence and input in the game . Long way to go until we can all breathe easily , but it clearly shows when we turn up with the right attitude we can go toe to toe with the best and that’s with constant chopping and changing if the squad due to injuries. The moans and groans around me on the terraces about the no show of dagger, Kershaw and Kaye was incessant before the kick off , but those rumours were put to bed early in the first half with a resounding team effort .Of that team on show today I can only see Whitbread replacing Eseh for the trip to hull , but I’ll leave that conundrum to Mash .

Agreed, I thought Lineham was outstanding as well, apart from the strange decision to put it on his boot when he’d gone the full length from the intercept :D
