Hats off to you guys far too many on here to put your comments into qoutes.
I appreciate your loyalty and faith you have in your club.
I guess because we have won the odd SL trophy your expectations are raised each year at Leeds.
Without teams like yours RL would not be what it is today.
I don`t think I was being arrogant and you will have noticed the at the end of one of my posts.
Quite a few of my friends live in Wakefield and I actually enjoyed living there even though Leeds will always be home hence my loyalty.
Your team didn`t do too bad against us last year in our pre season warm up for the playoffs
Good luck for next season and I shall look forward to seeing Poore locking horns with our pack when it counts.

Are we less of a club because of this? The answer is no, we are more than most because our adversity has drawn us together and only fans from similar backgrounds will understand that!

At Wakefield Trinity you cut one and we all bleed!

A Leeds fan will never know that and you're poorer for it.

Yeah good luck with that, funny 1st encounter last season we lost by 2 kicks - 4 points.

Second encounter we won by 20 points.

In the play offs we lost by 22 points.

So that makes it 6 points between us throughout the Super League season.

So 6 points = a converted try.

Jesus that's close for a "small town team", who doesn't win any silverware and is perfect for your pre-playoff warm up games.

. I find it hard that a person from Wakey can follow another team ,but I suppose shirts are cheaper than a season ticket wakey born and bred,proud of it.I wish half the Wakey population thought the same,but never mind......Too many vodkas,getting too passionate ......again.Up the trin.

We can't really compare our selves to Leeds like that.
We did well against them but they won when it matters.

It shows we are getting closer but we are a long way from being a club like Leeds, on or off the pitch.

Saying that, I watched the review of season DVD last night and I had forgotten how good we were last season. I expect us to do very well this season.

Agreed - it will take ten years or more of continuous improvement on an off the pitch before we're anywhere near as well run as Leeds; their youth production line for example is enviable, even if they do seem unwilling to give up on their pensionable forwards.

It works both ways ,I was born and bred in leeds but have followed wakey for the last 30 years
