He didn't escape scott-free though...think it was after Huby's try when Les Cats were waiting for the conversion, Bird was bent double, throwing up
About 5 minutes later they substituted him and as he got half way back to the dug-out, he fell on all fours and was throwing up again for a good couple of minutes. Their trainer, who had brought him off, didn't initially realise that Bird hadn't made it back to the dugout and by the time he did Bird was sitting with his back to the wall looking quite poorly.
A bit of summary justice methinks...just what he deserved after those cheap shots.
