Fight or die were the options, dragged to the gallows by Box and Walker and all the rest. Well done for fighting. They deserve the support of everyone.
She is, likely to be December but the Club and Trust may not be able to attend if advised not to do so by our Lawyers.
Is this Andrea Jenkins and is it worth us getting in touch with her to sort a date asap? I fully appreciate the club and trust are in the midst of legalities but surely us fans need to contribute to this fight and we can use social media and political pressure.
The easy response to her comment is why do you expect one club in the district to pay commercial rent for a stadium they won't own whilst another gets one gifted for a quid thanks to WMDC and why did your leader spend years saying the Newmarket s106 was nothing to do with the council?

now we will find who our friends are within the rugby league community.
two great guys at the helm that have shown how to run a club with what finances available, even had sky reducing its payments due to the ground and we still kicked some arses on the way

To be fair star hit nail on head when the council said they wanted to charge 500,000 a year in rent .....
Rest is just flim flam and spin as far as I can see from the council
Not sure about all of it being "flimflam", the council have highlighted a specific claim from the club -
"that there is a 'legally binding obligation for the Council to provide a 99 year lease at a peppercorn yearly rental to the Wakefield and District Community Trust' as there is no reference, at all, in the Unilateral Undertaking to this."
Maybe only someone from the Trust could clarify as to whether this is a factual statement or not?
