I would suggest that, on balance of play, the final score flattered Shudds. Their solitary try came when our guys were already sat in the changing room having their half time Bovril.
Thought first half was tight. Second half I thought Hudds were total mugs to be honest - stopped playing and just got dirty. McGillvery and Ferguson were a handful the rest just cheated. Momo is no better than you average British FB why bother?
Seeing how much snow had been shifted to behind the hoardings showed what a fantastic effort must have been put in on Saturday to get todays game on. Big thank you to each and every person that made one in
]Superb defensive display, utterly brilliant. Huddersfield put some pressure on in the first half but boy, were they grubby. Pauli's best game for Trin and now Finn has his boots on the right feet , things are looking good. Special mention for Wood and honour in defeat for Ferguson, who looked a handful for us all afternon.
Excellent 2 points and apart from a quick ptb from Mamo we looked tight as a drum in defence
Its not the way I expected the season to go. I knew we could score tries and even if they let 6 tries in I always thought the present squad would be capable of scoring 7 or 8. we seem to control games and have confidence I havnt seen at Wakefield before. Each squad member seems to have confidence in the other players and come the better weather and firmer pitches I can see us whipping a few.
The attitude seems to be keep it tight and we will score.
Looking forward to seeing the highlights to confirm who the guy was who chased back to stop that certain try with about 10 to go. Suspect Finn might be up on Tuesday for lifting Mamo's legs though. Ref missed it.

Nah he didn't miss it because he didn't do it. Mamo's other leg slipped in the mud and his own momentumn took him round. A trinity player copped for one and was also rightly ignored by the ref. When it's as muddy underfoot as it was today proving intent is nearly impossible.
I did the same taking the dogs a walk this morning but they wern't to blame.
