Watched an episode of "Tenable" a while back where one of the contestants admitted to being gullible. Warwick Davis then proceeded to tell her he'd invented the word gullible. Point proved!!!

I’ll be on straight away apologising if it happens. I still don’t think it will. He’s now back home looking at his mrs Instagram. To provide context as well all my comments were aimed at the original quote ‘Wakefield in advanced talks with chase Stanley’. That to me says deal imminent. Not we’ll do a deal in 3 months time just to prove Jose wrong??

Leeds live says he's back in auss land, but hoping to return to UK, Chester say they were in talks and are still hopeful of signing him. Deal slowed down when they went home

So not really ‘advanced talks’ then. Just a discussion before he hopped on a plane home 2 weeks ago. And absolutely no opportunity to resurrect deal since. I stand by my ‘agent uses journalist and club to try and get a deal’ comment

If there was any serious willingness from the club or Stanley he would be on his way to wakefield. 3 weeks and it doesn’t appear there’s been any serious discussions or offers made.

Honestly don’t think we need a player in his position still. If Chester wants him he will be here. If he doesn’t then I’m sure we will find other players throughout the season.

Agreed, he would undoubtedly bring some more quality to the squad but, if it doesn't happen, we have Lyne, Tupou, Arundel, Croft and Greensmith all fit and raring to go....do we really NEED another centre ??
