End of the day 2 very poor defensive efforts from Tanginoa and Lineham cost us the points.

Some very frustrating plays particularly whilst being camped on the Hull line and totally relieving any pressure we were building.

Think the defensive efforts by both kelepi and tom whare poor but also once again max should be puting mcintosh i to stands on 3rd try too.

Just hope this isn’t going to be another season where we wait for the sunny weather to get our act together.

It was a typical early season Wakefield performance. Always looked like we could win, always looked like we'd lose.

Highlights on Sky for anyone who didn't make the game, you do have to listen to the Hull fans chanting though.

Very poor defending by the 5 players who took the dummy by Joe Lovodua, Jowitt completely committed to sliding down the line and it's absolutely not easy at the back there but way too delayed in responding.

Another classy finish by TJ and showed great pace to put us on the front foot for the Hall try but yet again it's another loss.

Looking forward to seeing Lino, Tupou and Walker again. It'll also be interesting to see what impact Sid makes.

Not an easy run coming up, winnable games in Catalans and Toulouse should they play like they have done this round. I'd be happy with 4 points come round 5.

Disappointed with the loss but plenty to be positive about.
I feel confident for the season.
