Wakey played very well last night the plan to play an unorthodox offloading game with creative kicking worked to an extent causing Saints to look uncomfortable and to adopt a scrambling defence.
Thought the best player on the pitch last night was Miller, his distribution was excellent and a couple of spells was the the architect of some line breaks on your left hand edge.
The negative from Saints point of view was the referee struggling to control the game with a spoiling stop start game, didn't suit the Saints but helped Wakey mix it up a bit, their were quite a few injury stoppages with some Wakey players which allowed their defence to reset.
Wakey with better final execution could have scored 18 points with Saints similar failing to score another 12 points.......Won't be long before Wakey start to put a run of winning games together.
