We lost - after losing the previous 4 games. We played at our absolute best this season, but that still isn't good enough to get a win. A threadbare squad needs a good coach, and that's something we haven't got
No we haven’t played at our best.
We have many players injured who will add something on return.
We have (again today) been guilty of making some errors which turn over territory.
Discipline hasn’t been the best and can be improved on.
Yet we’ve played at our absolute best because it fits Egg’s motive.
We can play a bit smarter and better imo as there’s room for improvement but after that effort the team need to be supported next week and I will be there to do that.
I hope you’re not there tbh because even with a big effort like that and only just narrowly losing in extra time there’s not one shred of support from you.
I’ve almost left those social groups these last few weeks due to the constant negativity. I don’t know how you or other people function being so suffocatingly negative about absolutely everything.
I criticise and today we could have won if we’d been a bit better at fielding high bombs at the back and been that touch better with ball retention.
I was happy with the effort, the improvement in attack and even the way we finished our sets was a marked improvement. There’s some positives in there to take and enough that they should have some confidence they can take KR down next week.
The players and coach/club really seem to be trying to turn this round and look to be fixing it up. We don’t have any alternative, there’s no coach going to swoop in and save us and it’s upto the current players and coach. Accept it and support them instead of constantly dragging everyone down.
