Considering how well things went during that 1st season I don't think we ever really recovered from the Pearman debacle during season 2.

What makes me laugh, and I suspect you and the smarter posters on here have worked this out. Despite what the trolls say Carter still pumps large amounts of cash into the club. When he leaves that will stop! These haters just don’t seem to get this. The financial hole will be enormous.

There is an old saying, you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone.

If it’s any consolation I get no feedback from MC anymore, I’m not sure he likes me all that much. But that doesn’t mean I can’t see what he does and has done, he’s fundamentally saved the club. So much so that after 25 years of flirting with relegation at least if it happens this time we can survive - it was a death sentence until the last two seasons.

I was gobsmacked when I saw numbers of free tickets.

The discounted season tickets too, though I got the logic why it was done, the prices were set way too low.

At that time I remember approaching the turnstiles when Cas were playing and a bloke had a wad of complimentary tickets for sale. I remember saying I could get In cheaper and he knocked another fiver off. I heard later that the complimentary tickets were so basic hundreds were being photocopied and sold.
