I stayed up to watch the game on Fox sports (in Aus) last night… despite being up early for a long drive…

I think I now understand the frustrations… that was awful… truly awful… defensive structure… running lines… dummy runners.. speed of dummy half… options in the centre/ wide forwards… breaking tackles … dominating ball carriers… speed in thought and action… it was ALL missing

Ps… over the years I have worked with a model called the ‘knowing-doing gap’ … seems we have a coaching staff that knows … but can’t do or enable or inspire… do!

If you’re judging on 1st team performances, the defence against Catalans was an absolute disgrace. Absolute embarrassment we are.

You're right about our poor defence but, our offensive play or, lack of it, is far more concerning.
Leigh are playing well but, not to come close to scoring v 11 players is as bad as it gets.

This group of players are not playing for the coach. End of.

Always the players fault never the coaches .The players were not playing for W Poaching last year but he still had 44% win record. This Coach should be no were near a championship team never mind a S L Team .He is way out of is depth thinking second string players and old men are good enough for S L. No other Coach would think that ,wait did we have some one called Chester who did the same

It was James Ford’s fault.

It's difficult to believe that the coach and owners don't have some sort of conversation after every game.
So what's said.
Do they have a complete in detail analysis of the team and individual performance or is it on a casual basis.
Something needs to be done and any solution will require money throwing at it, and that's the problem

The measure of a decent coach, in any sport, is whether they are getting the best from the players under their charge and whether those players are improving individually and as a team and the answer to this is obvious, we're going backwards at speed.
Yesterday, even taking account of the injuries, we put in our worst performance of the season, in a long line of dire performances.

As I said, the players, for whatever reason, dont seem to want to play or, are unable to play for Applegarth.

The players need to take some individual responsibility but, a winless season, serving up dross, under a coach who is drowning in denial, is killing the club.

When ST holders are staying away from games, you know that were screwed.

The sad part is that when we’re down, the demise will continue unless we change the coaching set up.
I hope we do because most championship clubs would hammer us at the moment.

I note a subtle change in his recent statement which is that he is the right coach be it in the first or second tier. He is the one to rebuild the team, unfortunately his current record and team performances are clear for all to see, he isn’t. We have now played 14 league games and are still to get to treble figures for points scored.
The question is why don’t the current incumbents take the action we all can see is needed, could it be loyalty or financial either way the supporters are the ones who live with the ridicule and embarrassment that comes with Trinity currently.
The incumbents don’t even deem it necessary to confront the issues, I guess they consider us to be simple soles who are unable to grasp the issues, we are to be seen (but in shrinking numbers) and pay up when money is needed. This would be an ideal time to at least have a meeting with those who have donated their £500 to explain why they believe we are going in the correct direction. This would also guarantee a less turbulent audience because these are the ones who provided funds and at least deserve to know just what’s going on.

So the players haven't performed for Chester, Poching and Applegarth. Was willing to give Applegarth a go, but feel his time is now up as our coach.
