Cas fans wouldn't want to watch Cas at "home" in Wakefield and Trinity fans wouldn't want to watch Wakefield playing their "home" games in Cas.
Under either scenario one of the clubs would bery quickly lose their identity.
Having said that, I'd be more than happy for Cas to share BV I wouldn't. Cas would want at the very least to be equal tenants and that's the last thing we want or need. We need an unequal tenancy in which we remain the top dog.
IMO what we need is a smaller team to take up the slack in the winter month. For example a football team with gate of 500 - 1000 fans, who play regular fixtures.
To get up too cap we require an extra input of roughly 500k, might be more, might be less. We can get that from renting to a football team and other revenue increases due to the re-development of the ground etc. We certainly don't need to invite some giant ginger cuckoo into the nest.
So yes, it's a can of worms best left unopened imo.
