Correct. Not like it’s going anywhere, it will always be available if needed.

Out of interest had we tried to create as many steps using the modern precast terracing the north stand would have finished above the alter at St Catherine’s according to my engineer mate. Would have been by far the biggest terrace in the U.K. after Odsal.

Not wanting to harp on about Rugby Union stadiums but Northampton are on ITV.
Franklin Gardens is a great modern stadium. Holds 15k which they often fill. Perfect size for rugby. And it's on their original 140 year old ground
Modern hospitality.

Key is though. It only cost them £10 million. Inflation is a peach and we got the rough end of it.

What are the plans for the corners? The new stand isn't going the full length of the pitch, so there will be a lot of visible space, similar to the popular stand at the Hull KR ground. The whole of Belle Vue looks tired and old. For example, the new screen looks good, but the area around it looks still like everyone's perception of Belle Vue. Is there to be a general tarting up too, or is it just not feasible without much larger works?

Shafted by COVID (delay) resulting in not starting until pieces went through the roof. TBH bad timing has been our curse since we started in 2004 stadium wise.

But I don’t care I still think where we are now is beyond my wildest dreams five years ago.

North west a tidy up and remain as it is. JM is keen for the corner on the North east to remain and go as close to the new East stand as possible. How that pans out remains to be seen.

The new stand will run from try line to try line that's full length isn't it. Just the same as most other recent built stadiums
