The new stand will run from try line to try line that's full length isn't it. Just the same as most other recent built stadiums

You’re both slightly out but you’re more right than slugger.

There is a 10 foot gap between where the stand ends and the old clubhouse. This is purely to allow quick access to the pitch and is a safety requirement. We are lucky in that we actually have four other access points but sadly none lead directly onto the pitch unobstructed.

However it is in every real sense full length.

Slugger the last section gets added when all the rest is in place as it is the access point during the build. If you look at the plans you’ll see there is another 20 foot section to be added.

True he’s not even an informed troll. It’s been explained a fair few times now that the remaining section gets added later.

You can clearly see the foundations and it’s on the plans.

Fair enough some might not have realised this but this poster has been told many times.

From the interviews I've seen, re tidying up other areas of the ground, the share scheme has given the club the capital to look at things. I don't think enough will be raised for a full scale revamp of the WT, but it could pick up the points where old meets new, entrance turnstiles on the north east corner and other areas that just need a face lift rather than anything structural.

If you had bothered to look up the planning details, you can see the overall length of new stand is 96.5 metres, hardly a three quarters stand,

Gotcha. I was going only from the photos and had thought that perhaps increased costings had meant some shrinkage.

I don't understand the 10 foot gap thing.
1) if its needed, why don't we have it now?
2) are they lowering the entrance? So it's flat from car park level to pitch? They probably already done this and I didn't notice.
3) don't we have pretty wide access behind the South 'Stand' ?

I'm not being a smart a. I genuinely don't understand.

Currently the emergency services come in round the back of the "flats" - a new, more suitable entrance to the pitch is being created.

That makes sense. The ambulances can be onto Doncaster Road a few minutes quicker, and the ground generally is going to get a lot more use.

It probably already is and always has been. The raised platform that runs along the back of the east stand is because the entrances are at the back of the seating. If you think of the Cats bar, you go up steps to it, but it sits higher than the pitch. The tunnel that used to emerge from the centre of the east stand didn't have any steps. It was a straight run to the dressing rooms at the back.

The car park and pitch have always been the same level.
