It was a big game for both sides as always.

game of 2 passes!! : Mon Jul 27, 2009 7:56 am
thought yesterday was very flat from both teams had a feeling of a training match like no one could be bothered. the game was there for the taking. we would have won if atkins had released murphy on the last tackle and also moore when he was yards from the try line. one man glory rugby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! differnce between the two teams

Can only imagine that Moore was thinking about making the kick easier for Brough. Poor decision but that's life.

All opinions though isnt it? for me leeds will always be the team i want to beat and the best bit about playing in the nls was getting to play fev and beat them, its always down to individual tastes but its leeds, fev, wakey then wigan for me, everything after that is just 2 points.

Absolutely not, although he let your motley lot get away with putting the hand in, grappling around the neck and being offside for most of the game. Our failure to capitalise on the scant number of chances we created killed us.

Moore will be kicking himself for not passing when he clearly should have. Grix, though he put in the effort, continues to make the wrong choice - poor passes when he should back himself or when it's not on for his team mate. What was Drew doing running backwards and sideways all in one?! Our backs let us down in execution, didn't notice Gleeson at all for one thing.

Awful kicking game (Brough can't find touch for a penalty, but kicks it straight out when going for a 40-20, seen far too much of that this season!), poor passing, poor ball retention, poor discipline, no desire, no creativity. Cas controlled the territory in the first half even with their mediocre forwards. Rangi Chase dominated the proceedings. They played a sensible game, and though there were too many knock ons from both sides, Cas just had the edge when it came to pinning us back where we wanted them.

Thats rubbish, if our forwards our mediocre how did we manage to win the forwards battle against the likes of wire, wigan, hudds and yourselfs in games this season, were the forwards of theose teams worse than mediocre?

What was Atkins thinking then? "What's that bloke who's always on my left hand side screaming, pass the ball, doing?"

Our cup final ! Against you ?

When Leeds say it i mean it's fair enough but Wakefield are Castleford's cup final ?

Higher in the table at the minute mate and have a cracking winning run going thanks for the 2 points and oh....

A word about your fans....do you have any for the size of the city ?

Thought not...oh and thanks again...for the 2 points that put us above you in the table :D

That's just it at the minute. Let's see where you are end of season. We were crap and apart from Huddersfield was our worst display of the season. But we still would have beaten you apart from two howlers from Moore and Atkins.
