The majority of the players seemed to leave their brains and hearts on the bus tonight credit must go to keegan hirst who was the best by far. My 5 year old grandson could have dropped on the ball that Williams lost. grix kicking on the first tackle and the list of errors far too long. These players have given fans reason to celebrate more than we have had for years. Let's hope they show some pride and passion next week .

Re: Huddersfield on Friday : Fri Aug 04, 2017 10:35 pm
Dont know if it was the pressure to perform or just lack of confidence but, to lose so badly against a very average Huddersfield side was awful.
We were like rabbits in the headlights.
Unable to field basic kicks, coughing up possession coming out our own 20 and utterly inept in attack.
Huddersfield didn't have to work hard to score, we just gifted them the game.
Easily the worst performance of the season and possibly the worst game under Chesters stewardship.
Apart from the first 15 minutes of the second half, we looked like a team of second rate school kids.
Completion rate, dont make me laugh.

Apart from Hirst, who was our only player with some go forward.
Tupou who was excellent in defence and Arona who just needed someone to support the break, I'm struggling to think of any positives from tonight.

How can a half decent side be so very, very poor ?

Your last comments are correct but any p/more performances like that tonight and it will be wearing a bit thin. I can't believe what I saw tonight

A very good question. BJB's performance was staggering. He literally looked terrified. He got to the point where he wouldn't even attempt to take the simplest of bouncing balls. Some very strange psychology on that pitch tonight. They played with utter fear

Over 75 points conceded in two games what has happened to the defence?

If you gift any team that much possession in you own 20, you will get well beaten and we were.
It wasn't so much about poor defence but, total lack of any ball controll.
The cheap turn overs and not being able to field a ball whilst not under pressure an unforgivable errors for professional players.
Huddersfield fans and players must be laughing themselves to sleep after that. :DEPRESSED:

Unprofessional, inept, sloppy, pathetic ....I could go on . Keegan Hirst put in a great performance , Tupou and Lyne never had a decent pass, Wood tried his socks off ...the poor passes near the end must have been down to fatigue. Fifita drafted in thanks to the idiotic shenanigans of Walker, Arona, Ashurst tried their best. Need changes next week like Chester has said, I thought his after match comments were spot on .
Sorry but think we need a new Captain ...... very, very disappointed and what a great following we took tonight to witness that .
