A bit harsh to bag a young player like that after last night, especially as, when quite rightly pointed out, went off quite early with a head knock

Find the Huddersfield thread, I said exactly that after the game.

Jordy is a young lad learning the game and has had a great season at Dewsbury, he has come back and got an opportunity to show what he can do. Yes he may find the junp up to SL hard who wouldnt but I see a young lad grafting and working like made tremedous defence and lots to learn, I was at the game last night and saw one snippet on the screen where Horo was clearly giving him some pointers. He is exactly what we need going forward he may develop into a Richard Slater type player a type every club needs. I have seen nothing that shows Jordy does not have the ability. I saw us dominated last night with our put together pack and half backs I am not sure what some people expect from our players every game!

Personally I think it’s shameful that a young lad who has only been given an opportunity recently and done well is being singled out in a performance where we simply did not have the size to match cas and his performance was on a par with much more seasoned pros in a wakey shirt

Well said

Once again, when things dont go well some fans need a scapegaot.
Lucky for Grix that he'd gone off injured

Those knocking his performance could maybe point out which of our back rowers stood out last night.
Apart from Pauli and Arona, I thought all of our forwards were some way behind the Cas pack.

We were 2 props short and it showed in the result and that's without the injuries and discipline that made it so easy for Cas in the first half

Jeez some people just can't wait to bag a player cab they.
He was fine tonight in tough circumstances.
He isn't Sculthorpe or Farrell but he's still developing.

I can't say I'm keen to watch it back but he got through his work and did his job. Why single him out.

I find some people are just vultures waiting for a poor performance to sweep in and pick over the bones but stay quiet while the good things are happening.
That's way more disappointing than the players performance.

Agree 100% with this. The lad isn't the finished article but who is when they start out. What he did show was effort and enthusiasm and certainly doesn't deserve being singled out

He’s been singled out by Leedscat before so no surprise there, but just to pick up on the dropping down early, if you’ve ever played the game then you’ll know to try and play the quick ball which may put you on the front foot or gain penalties. Jordan also played on injured in the second half then spending 2 hours in Pinders after the game, if you don’t believe me then invest in Trinity tv and listen to CC post match interview leedscat or even better come and see me at any game and I will gladly talk to you about his commitment on and off field work rate to try and be that perfect player you want.

Good comment Big lads mate. The people on here who bag players have either never pulled a pair of boots on or, if they’ve played, they should know how how hard the game can be at top level and be ashamed.

Can’t believe the comments regarding our young players ! Jordan has been given a chance and taken it with both hands ... give the young lad a chance to develope along with Max Jowitt . We don’t realise how lucky we are to have such talented youngsters along with likes of Batchelor . I really hope we extend Jordan’s contract because our loss with be someone else’s gain
