How much work did CK get through in his stint? Certainly looks the part and IMO is just what we have been missing a player that just keeps on going and going - Very much in that Chris Hill mold.
Agreed, it was the young players who really showed up as you would expect and hope for. Though England played his like a man possessed and Dave looked sharp.
Batchelor sort of eclipsed Crowther when he burst onto the scene but now they look pretty even, which is absolutely brilliant for us.
Crowther moved up at the same time as TJ and Jowitt but due mainly to the physicality of his position made less of an impact for quite a while, again as you would expect.
Now Jowitt is doing OK and TJ is a phenomena (how high did he jump last night!). Yet in terms of future team building and laying a platform for the other two Crowther may well be the most important of the three. He probably won't get the adoration and recognition that TJ gets but the Jordans of this world are what makes teams great, they give us a backbone.
He who is last will be first.
