I do agree here to a point Vasty. In this day and age we shouldn’t need cash turnstiles, and I think by bringing in the ticket booth in Doncaster Road has reduced this somewhat. However, there are still some people who prefer the older methods, and we shouldn’t discriminate against them, as we need as many fans as we can get. Having said that, any cash taken and held on the premises could be a security risk, as could walking across town, taking it to the bank. That is why I suggested that they use the security companies to uplift and pay it in. That’s what happened when I was at Leeds.
I think the scanners in stadiums are really good, and I know that’s what Mrs EW and her Dad use with their Hull KR season ticket. The problem is, with our turnstiles being so old and out date, it would probably be at a significant cost to the club, which if the stadium gets revamped, doing it now could be counter productive and a waste of money

What happens at Leeds is insignificant at Wakefield, If as you suggested they use a security company to uplift and pay it in, presumably this would be a free gratis service and not one at a significant cost.
