If it was relating to who signed him BG it would matter but because I was referring to the above strategy of the Oracle which clearly failed in the case of Lineham it does not.

I have not run a business, I guess you did once but no more. I bow to your greater business acumen and that a loss of 20% of your customer base and 30% of sales is obviously the way to go. The big difference is that I am not wanting to be the voice of the supporters especially when that voice is so obviously compromised, so much so you are even starting to use the same phrases.
I did not suggest using any extra money other than that gained from the offloading of a large portion of the squad or do you not agree with this and would you prefer to use this elsewhere?
I regret I am not trolling but if my suggestions offend your sensitive side wherever that may be based so be it.

and these suggestions of which you speak? I still haven't seen any? Only talking down what is being done and generalising about what you think is good business. That's hardly going to win you the Apprentice.

I have pointed it out several times gets the product right which helps with the rest. I may have simplified it but that does not mean it is wrong, regardless of the business. I don’t need to talk down the club because they advertise this themselves by confirming the reduction in season ticket and merchandise sales. They also blame the “fans” for this not the fact that what as been produced does not encourage supporters to go.

Still no suggestion. Only criticising.

Pointing out that we need to play better to get more fans in isn't a suggestion of how to improve. We all know that. The suggestion would be answering the question how we do that.

Telling fans where we are with season ticket sales isn't talking down the club, it is communicating to the fan base/customer. Isn't that on your list of things a good business has to do?
They haven't blamed the fans as well you know.

I had a business once and it was very successful until I got carried away. I purchased myself a Range Rover when the business could only afford a Mondeo.

We ran out of money and in the end I sold out to my partner. He didn’t have a Range Rover, he didn’t even have. Mondeo.

He’s now retired and ironically does have a Range Rover.

I’m not bitter, he was right I was wrong, but I did learn. In 20 years I’ve never bought anything I couldn’t afford or borrowed what I couldn’t comfortably pay back.

The club is run exactly the same and rightly so. At the moment we are a second hand Mondeo club but if we can stay in SL within budget one day we will be the Range Rover club.

At least it wasn’t a Porsche, but getting back to the future, if it is true that Drinkwater at Catalan is out of favour, then he would be a good signing.
