It matters not who exactly was replaced by Murphy and when exactly it happened. Long term Murphy's readiness for Superleague, after Tom's injury and subsequent transfer of Tom meant that we had a replacement from within the club.
There's obviously a certain poster on here, a shade of red, who does go OTT with his sniping at the club in general and how it's run, but you have to see his point occasionally. His argument against the club, is we do often play the penniless pauper, yet Lineham is still here, and to justify his being here, surely he has to be first choice?? But how many fans would like to see him starting ahead of Murphy, Taufua, Kershaw, Kay? Not me, but like i've said, if he doesn't play, then the club are wasting money, are they not??

Surely he is only first choice if he's the form winger. You don't pick your team on salary. Strange logic.
But as has been said, if you want to discuss our wing options, just open a new thread. Not on this one.
First of all, the first 3 games had Lineham and TJ on the wing, then Lineham got injured at Saints and was out for a few months. Murph's debut was against Leeds at home, with Tom Johnstone on the other wing was it not??
So you don't think Murphy is Toms replacement.
What wing he's on is utterly not relevant imo, it's about having a player with massive strike potential, who cares what wing that comes down?

Well, we will beg to differ, back to what looks like our potentially fantastic new signing.

Ok final word on this thread, strange logic? What about giving a guy over 30 a hefty (allegedly) 3 year deal, then loaning him out to a championship club, signing an ex RU winger with virtually no RL experience, who did ok, not signing him, then bringing back the guy who you loaned out......

If you want to know the reasons to that one I will give you a clue in no particular order, blamed for poor defence, loaned out, gave an opinion, had a fall out, old coaching methods, injured and played.
Lets see where we are now with hands on coaching by all the staff not just some with up to date methods. lets see what happens eh.
I am certain you will some much happier players willing to do the business this coming season unlike last season where you could see all the apathy from some players last season until the bullet was bitten.
