Have we replaced the luxury plastic seats from in front of the west stand or are we sticking with the retro look.

MC has always said the western terrace boxes had to stay because it’s where the tv cameras are positioned on the odd occasion Sky are at BV, and will now show on tv the new East Stand in all its glory.
Also, when the East Stand was being demolished, press and radio reporters used the upper section for viewing the game and were quite complimentary about the views from that position. But yes, the boxes themselves are an eyesore and need to go at the earliest opportunity.

The TV gantry is actually a separate build to the actual boxes.

The gantry is a modern steels framed structure.

I'm sure it's not beyond us to remove the boxes and at least make it look less awful.

JM posted a picture somewhere of the dug outs with fixed bench type seating a couple of weeks back. Twitter maybe?

Not sure the space is there yet due to the wooden fence running alongside the pitch

Maybe, until the east stand is complete.

But it’s worth noting that the new stand like most modern stands will ha no dugout as such. The player area is part of the stand itself. It is slightly segregated but fundamentally they are the same seats as the fans. It’s not quite that basic but you get the idea

I'd really like it if we had big airplane type seats like they do at Etiad and then basic plastic chairs for Sts when they come.

According to Daz from the club shop the dug out won’t be causing any issues when we entertain Fev , they will have been relocated , to where I don’t know but he said it was being done , I’ll defo find out on Fri when I attend the luncheon club

Not really, I've seen the actual plans. Plans are no longer the issue, the club knows what it wants todo. Money is the issue now.
