Just thinking about Trinity's back row options and thought not heard anything about Jon Molloy and his long term injury issue. Trinity could have done with his size, experience and defensive ability today. Is there any update on it via Trinity TV or elsewhere?

Sounds like Ashurst may be out for a few weeks if he has a hamstring injury.

Molloy seems to be one of those players who gets more than his share of serious injury, pity really.

Sio, now that is a strange one. I can't recall him getting injured and think he would have been a better bench option than Williams today. In fact I would start him and bring woody on later.

I think Sio was made the scapegoat after the poor team performance at Headingley. That's the last time he played I think?

Sio would have been a much better bet than Williams who was a wasted interchange today.

Wood was the best player in a Trinity shirt yesterday no inerchange 9 madnes Williams is very poor at the moment

Can't see Molloy on team photo on Trinity twitter page wonder whether he is still a Trinity player..contract expires end of this season.

Molloy was a good player and worth a gamble when we signed him but again, the team has evolved and gone past a player like Molloy.
Was injury prone but worth keeping, now his contract could be used elsewhere.
As for Lomax, if a club like Saints can't afford to take a gamble on someone as talented as him, they must be struggling a little also.

With a salary cap, you have to decide is it better having a molloy/lomax or a washbrook/ashurst.

prob bad examples, but the point is do you want injury prone superstars or good players who turn up every week.
