I'm still waiting for the confirmation that we will definitely be playing at dewsbury as I'm not convinced that is the case.
Firstly we have been told our ground isn't up to standards, not sure dewsbury is either.
The logisics last week were terrible, all the cars parked on owl lane Andrew surrounding streets is not acceptable and the consequent congestion leaving the game was ludicrous.
The pitch at dewsbury is too narrow and too short for our style of play and I'm not sure that would be acceptable in SL, also I can't see how it can be lengthened or widened in its current state.
There is probably a similar amount of money that would be need to be spent on dewsbury that would be required to be spent on belle View, if I had that kind of money the business case would still be to spend it on BV even though. The club only lease it, however thay wouldn't get 100% of the income generated on matchdays rather than a shared % if at dewsbury, so the ROI is more attractive.
I'm not trying to get an "up date BV" movement together, as personally I think that also is an error, I just don't think the solution is dewsbury and as yet there hasn't been an official statement confirming it (unless I missed it) and I think the solution could well be another location entirely
