Was cringey on SS today, at times he was desperate for us to lose.
The way he talked Widnes up in the 2nd half about how amazing they were was
hilarious.

Interestingly he was the only 'pundit' who tipped us to lose

He said a lot of good things about us.
I just think he felt the need to share some good words for Widnes even though they were well beaten on the score sheet.

He's often spoken positively about us when others were ignoring us or slagging us off - maybe you haven't noticed that ? He tends to go for the underdog and to look for the positives even if they are struggling. As he is backing our opponents then maybe he knows we aren't the underdog we used to be and can stand up for ourselves

He does exactly what he's paid to do. He creates debate and gets people talking/watching what he talking about, whether that's utter bull sheeite or not

The fact was that he had tipped us to lose and he was desperate to be right.
Annoyed the life out of me when he was trying to say that Widnes were as good as Wakefield and that we'd only scored of the back of poor decisions.
Trinity completely controlled the game and were full value for their win.

I think they're all like my ar5e, they were just commenting on the Wigan Wire game how much higher the intensity was than the previous 2 games, they were saying that while they were falling down allover the gaff, dropped ball, mistakes everywhere, in touch, knock on, penalties, wrestling throws....intense...pfft, comedy of errors for the last half hour that was

Thought the commentator was a massive improvement over Hemmings, called us Wildcats once but put it right in his next comment other than that he was good, got to say I thought Clarke wanted Widnes to win a whole lot more and was more annoying than I usually find him.

Didn't watch the other 2 games so thankfully didn't suffer him at all, Carney and Jon Wells came over well I think they do a decent job but I'm not liking Phil at all whereas I used to think he was quite good. Would have been great to get rid of Eddie the same time as the other Dinosaur.

With Wakey being many pundits tip for the bottom slot I often wonder if it's more in hope than knowledge.
Even after last season trinity just don't seem to receive any credit or consideration when it comes to player and squad improvements.
Unfortunately our top 8 games last season were disappointing and the season finished flat, hopefully we can put that matter to bed with a good run this season.
Tbh the CC draw could see us 80 mins away from Wembley, now that would be interesting.
