If only we hadn't had the glover/elston period beforehand which meant his first two years were spent righting a sinking ship.

His honesty is refreshing when you think of some of the bull crappers we have had in charge previously

I don't agree with everything he's done but what an achievement to turn this mighty club back on the right track. He's succeeded where many have failed. Many thanks for giving Wakefield a club that is financially correct and something to be proud to be a part of.

I think your a bit harsh on Glover tricky lad, I think his biggest problem was being so naive and having his eyes pillocked out by boy wonder, but other than that you make a good point.

Carter & Co have done a superb job.
I dont think that when they came in and had to sell one of our better players pretty much every week, just to pay the wages, that Wakefield would be doing anything better that just about surviving.
The very fact that 4 years on, we have the most successful Wakefield side is, quite frankly, unbelievable and beyond anyones most optimistic expectations.
If anyone deserves this club to be successful, it is MC & CB, thank you gentlemen.

Just a shame about the ground as with MC and CB I think it's the only thing holding us back from pushing on like Cas have and challenging for trophies.

Couldnt agree more with the OP. Thank you Michael, and also Chris Brereton too.

Also agree there with Chissitt, regarding Andrew Glover. Maybe if the two ran the club together back in 2011 onwards, with a very strong CEO that was passionate about the club, and its progression on and off the field. Someone who was strong willed, we may not of gone through the trials and tribulations we went through on and off the pitch between 2013-15.

Jakey, I too feel that the only thing holding us back is the stadium issue. And from that, think the gates would increase, hence more revenue, to help us in spending full cap, which in turn, would make us even more competetive than what we are now.
